• For a release alert, check the named facility and VINE where the jurisdiction participates. VINE is a notification service, not a photo source.
• For a sentenced, probation, or parole record, use the Idaho Department of Correction search.
• For federal sentenced custody or immigration detention, use the BOP locator or ICE locator. Federal pretrial custody may involve a local facility and the U.S. Marshals Service.

Public-Record Requests

The Franklin County public-record request form asks for requester information, a detailed description, copy count, signature, and date. Describe the person's name, arrest date range, agency, case or booking number, and the exact fields sought. Ask for the custodian if the record was created by a contracted jail.

The form prints a records-question number, fee language, and an older three-working-day statement. Current Idaho Code sections 74-102 and 74-103 control the public-record response and extension rules. Keep the submitted request and response.
